As said before in chapter 4. Itineraries, in this section you'll find some examples of itineraries and please consider them indeed as examples. Also the overall cost of these are just indications. Everything can be changed, from the route taken, to the way of transport, number of participants or the type of lodgings.

These are all PDF files, readable with Adobe's Acrobat Reader. If you don't have it you can download the latest version at the Adobe Products Section.

One last thing: we have not given any information on any of the places you pass by when making a tour according to the travel programs above, or why they are so special in putting them there at all. First, be assured that they are really worth visiting. Second, this site is not meant as a travel guide. There are lots of them on the market that are better written than we can ever hope to do. Lastly, you can get an abundance of information on the internet with search engines like Google, Yahoo, etc., or consult encyclopedia especially the digital ones like Wikipedia.

You will have one difficulty though: you will soon learn that many places are spelled differently. For example:
Taiz/Tai'z/Ta'izz, Aden/Adan, Marib/Mareb, Hadramawt/Hadramaut, Kawkaban/Kokaban, Hodeidah/Hudeida/Al Hodeidah, Jebla/Jibbla, and so on, and so on. One reason for this is of course the language in which these places are mentioned like London/Londen, Cologne/Keulen, Gent/Gand, Brussels/Bruxelles/Brussel, Rome/Roma, etc. And even in Yemen itself there is often no uniform way of spelling. Well, you'll have just to live with that and in most cases you will find what you want. And if you really can't make any head or tail of it, you can always ask Yamanat Tours. Besides: we will add a routing map to each of the itineraries so that at least you will have some idea in what region you will be travelling and which places you will pass by. On screen you can zoom in on them to about 250% to see more detail.
An advantage of using search engines or digital encyclopedia by the way is, that they automatically will give you alternatives for the spellings. Searching for "jibla" for instance will get you no results, but Wikipedia gives you Jibla and Jiblah as the correct alternatives.
