You won't see many pictures in this gallery, for the simple reason that there aren't many animals to see in Yemen. Mostly it's camels, goats, sheep, some cows, donkeys. Sometimes birds and if you are lucky they are of the more exotic variety. Of course there are the wild animals, like snakes and scorpions, but except for a very small baby scorpion I found next to my sleeping bag when waking up in the desert, I haven't seen any of them.
In the villages there are the dogs and the cats. The Yemeni people generally don't have any pets. Especially the dogs suffer a real dog's life and often get stones thrown at them.
